Seagulls flying over our heads, birds’ singing coming from all directions, motorboats crossing the Ria Formosa lagoon somewhere in the distance... Here, even the occasional sound of cars, motorcycles or dogs barking at each other from one rooftop terrace to the other won't bother you. The city is vibrant with life, and I love it.
Also, it’s the best when the smell of grilled sardines from a neighbour’s terrace enters your nostrils. A good reminder that it’s time for lunch. :)
